PRESENT
TRAVELINE TMA has various tourist lines and special transportation of national operation.
At the end of 1994, our Founder and current Manager, Didier Califa Vargas, working in one of the country's oil companies, visited some municipalities in the Department of Boyacá in the company of some of his colleagues in compliance with a recreation and tourism plan. From which he became interested in learning more about its culture, its history, its gastronomy and the beautiful sites of the region, from there the idea of creating a transportation and tourism company was born, which would provide an excellent service to users. and would make known the wealth of the region.
The first tourist line offered by TRAVELINE TMA was the “Christmas Tour”, where the different parishes of the Department were visited with the prior endorsement of Monsignor Trujillo Arango. Initially, the municipalities distant from the city of Tunja were visited, such as Corrales, Busbanzá, Floresta, Tibasosa, Nobsa, among others, the objective was to observe the mangers that were inside the parishes, pray the novena and, upon returning from the tour, rate the mangers, the parishes and the municipalities to determine the best. Between 2002 and 2003, a series of insecurity situations arose in the churches, for which the parish priests decided to restrict entry to them. For this reason, the nativity scenes went out to the public squares of the different Municipalities and the Mayors began with the decoration, through the lighting of their localities, which, due to their architecture, communication routes and majesty, became known with the Christmas tour.
Due to the reception and tradition that the Christmas Tour received, our users motivated us to create more tourist lines, with destinations that would allow them to learn about the geography of the region and its main attractions. Thus two more lines were born, which were initially called “Tourist Tour” and “Travel and Eat”. Today, at TRAVELINE TMA we have the following tourist lines: travel lines, pedagogical lines, pilgrimage lines, theme parks, recreational vacations, festivities and events, in addition to the special transportation line with national operation, express service to business groups , educational institutions such as Colleges and Universities, state entities and individuals, being at the same time a pioneering company in its automotive fleet for the comfort of its users.
